Book News: Dark Horse rumours
Crimson Empire III:
Posted: 29th August
Comic Book Resourses have published a video interview with
Dark Horse founder and president Mike Richardson in which Mike says
that Randy Stradley (Editor) and himself are looking at "revisiting
the last chapter of Crimson
Empire", with the possibilities of reworking Crimson
Empire II: Council of Blood to fix "all the stuff that
got left out" because of possible conflicts with the
prequel films.
Elsewhere, the latest issue of Rebellion comic (#16) teases
of a new digest-sized series titled Star Wars Adventures. Amazon
UK
have had a listing for this for the last couple of months, stating
it is 80 pages long, published by Titan (the UK distributor for Dark
Horse) and published on 19th December - however since this is a UK
imprint, we may see it sooner in the US.

Book News: New nine-book series
to start next year?
Posted: 20th August
Commenting via StarWarsBoards regarding recent internet
rumours claiming "Fate of the Jedi is a new book-series,
comprised of nine volumes which take place after the Legacy
of the Force-series. The books will be written by Aaron
Allston, Troy Denning, and Star Wars newcomer Christie Golden",
LucasBooks Managing Editor Sue Rostoni said: "You can expect
information once the press release is prepared and approved and
posted on StarWars.com. Then we can open a discussion that I can
actually participate in!" and "We have quite a
number of books planned for the near future, so I'm hoping that
everyone's appetites will be somewhat appeased."
As for the Christie Golden rumours, Sue commented "I met her
some time ago and she's very enthusiastic about the unnamed project
I can't talk about. She's a team player and a good communicator."
Once again Sue is being coy about direct answers, neither confirming
nor denying rumours, so could Sue's "unnamed project" be
the speculated nine-book series entitled Fate of the Jedi?
