Dark Horse Comics have been producing Star Wars
comics since 1991 when they released Dark
Empire. To coincide with The Clone Wars animated series,
Dark Horse Comics published a short series of multi-part comic stories, such as Slaves
of the Republic, as well as digest-sized graphic
novellas like Shipyards of Doom*, Crash
Course* and The Wind Raiders Of Taloraan*.
Both series feature storylines written by The Clone Wars
writers as well as Dark Horse Comics regular writers, with artwork similar
to that of the animated series.
In November 2009 UK comics publisher Titan Comics
began publishing original and exclusive short comic stories (8 page
strips) in their monthly Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic.
In October 2010, Titan Magazines started to
republish their UK comic stories in the US in their bi-monthly Star
Wars: The Clone Wars Magazine.
*published in the UK by Titan
Books, under license from Dark Horse Comics. |

Unpublished
titles state whether the book is confirmed (by either the
title's publisher or LucasFilm Licensing via StarWars.com) or
unconfirmed (whereupon sources for speculated titles are
given). This means that titles listed by online sellers such as
Amazon or Barnes and Noble will be unconfirmed until the
publisher lists that title on their own website, in a press release
or via StarWars.com. |
