Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano are assisting in the battle of Gall, a moon orbiting the gas giant Zhar in the Outer Rim. However the battle is not going well for the combined Republic and planetary defence forces as the Separatist battle fleet have employed a new more powerful shield to protect their battle ships.
Realising that the lead battle ship is generating the shield for the whole fleet, Anakin and Ahsoka infiltrate the the battle ship using jet-wing crop duster flyers. After successfully landing, they discover a full compliment of battle droids but Anakin is unworried because so long as the shield is powered he believes the droids will remain inactivated. But as the two Jedi proceed to place five-minute timed detonator charges around they shield generator, the droids become active and Anakin and Ahsoka must battle the droids in order to escape the countdown of the detonators they have initiated.
With time rapidly running out, Anakin realises that they cannot go through so many droids and so burrows his and Ahsoka's way out through the ship's super-structure. Both begin to freefall towards the planet when the detonators explode ripping the battle ship apart. By using the force the two Jedi steer themselves towards their approaching starfighters, piloted by their astromech droids.
The Jedi have successfully destroyed the shield protecting the Separatist forces and so the Republic and planetary forces are able to destroy the remaining Separatist ships.
