Synopsis:
The sleekest, swiftest and deadliest starfighters ever flown in combat are universally recognised to be the X-Wing fighter. The greatest pilots ever to fly the X-Wing are the members of Rogue Squadron.
Before their famous exploits of taking Coruscant from the Imperials and the saving of the New Republic from 'Iceheart' Ysanne Isard, Rogue Squadron was fundemental in helping the Rebel Alliance defeat the Emperor. This classic story tells the adventure of four pilots, Wedge Antilles, Cesi 'Doc' Eirris, Jek Porkins and Biggs Darklighter as they attempt to secure a necessary cargo required to ensure that the Rebels could fight at the Battle of Yavin.
Chronology:
This story occurs just prior to the Battle of Yavin.
