A Guide to Star Wars: Legacy comic book series.

Star Wars: Legacy is a comic book series from Dark Horse Comics. Legacy is written by John Ostrander, primarily pencilled and co-scripted by Jan Duursema and inked by Dan Parsons and was published between June 2006 and May 2011. Ostrander and Duursema's series is set 137 years after the Battle of Yavin, during the Legacy of the Force era, at a time when the galaxy's greatest known heroes: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo have all passed on. Its chief protagonist is Cade Skywalker, a descendant of Luke, who has given up on his Jedi heritage to pursue a life as a bounty hunter. Cade's story is set against the backdrop of a galaxy in a state of civil war, with a Sith Lord seated on the Imperial Throne seeing his power being challenged by many different forces.

After a two-year hiatus Legacy returned in March 2013 as Legacy Volume 2. This new ongoing series is written by Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman and follows directly the events of Legacy; but whereas Ostrander and Duursema's series told of Luke Skywalker's descendent Cade Skywalker, Legacy Volume 2 follows the exploits of Han and Leia's great-great granddaughter, Ania Solo...
