First look: Lost Tribe of the Sith - Secrets
StarWars.com has released the blurb and cover for the final Lost Tribe of the Sith e-Book novella,
Secrets, by John Jackson Miller.
In Sith teachings, nothing is more important than the individual: the glorious center of the universe, around which all other lives pale in importance. But the planetary home of the Lost Tribe of the Sith is not the center of the universe, but a backwater — and the tribe’s legendary founders were little more than slaves themselves!
When the Lost Tribe suddenly rediscovers its forgotten origins, frustration and anger threaten to finish the society once and for all. But the past holds more secrets still — knowledge that, in the right hands, could place the evil rulers of Kesh on a path toward a greater destiny in the stars...
Lost Tribe of the Sith: Secrets is due to be released as a free download (PDF) from
StarWars.com on 5th March and from online retailers. |

Phantom Menace paperback reissue gets covered
RandomHouse.com has published the cover for the US paperback reissue of
The Phantom Menace novelisation by Terry Brooks. Re-released to coincide with the 3D theatrical release of
Episode I: The Phantom Menace, this re-issue includes an exclusive Darth Maul short story by James Luceno. It is due for release in the US on 31st January.
We've received reports of fans who have ordered the reissue of Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter by Michael Reaves with the new James Luceno short story,
Restraint, (re-released last month in the US) from various online retailers and have received the 2001 original paperback release (without the Luceno short story). We believe that online retailers may not realise that the 2011 reissue is a different edition and are simply supplying existing stock, ie the 2001 edition. Although the 2011 reissue has a different ISBN from the 2001 paperback edition, when we searched Random House's online catalogue with the new 2011 ISBN, the result pointed us to the 2001 edition along with its older ISBN.
If this is true the same issue could arise for those wishing to purchase the 2012 edition of
The Phantom Menace (to acquire the new short story) from online retailers, we therefore recommend for fans who wish to purchase either of these new editions that they buy them from their local bookstore where they can see the cover and be sure that they are getting the new edition.
