Reading a Star Wars book is the enjoyment of immersing yourself in the stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away... But once we have read one book, we will want to read the next so that we can discover what happens next in the continuing stories of the adventures of our Star Wars heroes (and villains). We may even be inspired to seek out older books, or even try reading comic stories as well as books, but whatever happens, after a few years we will have begun to accumulate our own Star Wars books' library.
For many the enjoyment of reading becomes the excitement of collecting but unfortunately, celebrating and displaying individual book collections online is rather sparse. Other forms of Star Wars merchandise collecting such as toy figures, sculptures and posters, have numerous sites that allow collectors to celebrate and display their collections for other collectors to view; so in an attempt to correct this, Star Wars Books offer My Book Collection - online space dedicated to celebrating and displaying the book (and/or comic) collections of Star Wars book fans.

To have your Star Wars book collection displayed here is very simple - just send an email with photos of your book collection!
So long as you are over 13 years old:

• take a few photos of your book and/or comic collection and attach them to the email.
  Please resize each photograph to approximately 1000x700 pixels before sending.
  Do not personalise the pictures, i.e. do not have photographs taken with yourself or anyone else in the picture.
  You can display your book collection as you like, e.g. in a book case, spread out over the floor - however you like, it's your collection!

• tell us your name (or nickname).

• where you live (town/city, state/county, country)
  Do not send your full postal address.

• your age (please indicate if you would like this published).
  You must be over 13 years old.

• include a brief account of your Star Wars book collection. Try including things like: how many books you have collected so far, why you collect Star Wars books (do you only collect a particular book type such as comics, etc?), when you started (which was your first Star Wars book?), which book have you just bought and why you bought it (was it particularly difficult to find?), which book are you most pleased about owning (is it rare? has a special cover? was it a limited edition? something else?).

• it doesn't matter how small (or even how large) your Star Wars book collection is - just celebrate it with other book fans.

Once we have received your email, we will let you know when we expect to publish your pictures.
